Job Description |
ECU School of Art and Design is currently seeking several Photography Lab Assistants to maintain the Photography area lab and studio spaces and fulfill the following duties:
-Making sure the area is set up and ready for students.
-Monitoring the labs and making sure that students that are working are using the tools and equipment in a safe manor.
-Keeping lab/studio spaces (darkroom, alt process, film processing, digital lab, finishing room, and lighting studio) clean and tidy on daily basis.
-Refilling chemistry, changing inks, and organizing supplies as needed.
-Assisting with equipment in the lighting studio, check out and checking in.
-Assisting students with printing, framing, and other tasks as appropriate.
-Reporting any issues or necessary repairs.
Hours and times to be determined by professor and student. Weekend and evening hours are needed.
Hourly rate $10 per hour. |
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) |
Photography Concentration students are strongly preferred but will train a dedicated individual. Applicants should be in good academic standing. |
