The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG provides life cycle program support for US Navy Strategic Systems Programs, US Navy acquisition Program Executive Offices, National Nuclear Security Administration, and the other Defense Department agencies. Specific areas of support include leadership and management organizational support, risk management, strategic communication, and high consequence events prevention. SSAG also provides defense strategy and policy development and implementation support. SPA has a near term need for an Industrial-Organizational Psychology Program Analyst Intern to work in Alexandria, VA. * Applications can be submitted through 17 January 2025. Responsibilities Principal responsibility is to assist in guiding organizational development activities for SSP and other clients leveraging and building on the High Consequence Event Prevention Framework, a vehicle for strengthening and sustaining culture in organizations engaged in complex system activities. Secondary responsibility will be to support other high reliability organization consulting and development activities. Additional assignments focused on other SPA projects to leverage relevant experience and capabilities. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
