Overview
The Manufacturing Electrical Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for supporting the production team in maintaining high product quality standards. This role involves inspecting products, conducting tests, and identifying defects or issues for prefabricated electrical/metal assemblies, skid packages, modular assemblies, control panels, motor control panels, or similar assemblies. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: An associate degree or experience in a related field, such as industrial technology, manufacturing, or electrical is helpful but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel will be limited and expect less than 5% as most activity will be in the production shop. Occasional travel for continuous improvement/educational activities is expected. This may include travel to job sites to view or assist with installation activities. Panel Techs will be expected to participate in controls changeover activities at job sites. |
