Your Role With Us: We are committed to providing you with comprehensive training that will enable you to navigate seamlessly across different clinical specialty areas. Join our esteemed healthcare team at Salem Health and become part of our exceptional community.The Salem Health Float Pool team supports all levels of care from Medical/Surgical to intermediate and intensive care covering all patient populations. Float Pool allows clinicians to explore all facets of acute care and broaden their skills and clinical abilities. Overtime training will be provided to float to Critical Care areas like the Emergency Department and the ICU. Salem Health's "Care in Place" model, provides nurses with the opportunity to treat patients throughout the continuum of their stay. Patients will remain on the same unit to promote continuity of care and allow nurses to see the reward of patient healing. With strong team culture, opportunities exist for nurses to obtain skills working with a variety of diagnoses and form relationships with patients who remain in one unit from admission to discharge.Professional growth opportunities include preceptor and Charge RN. Candidates applying for this position will need to be able to begin with the February cohort on 2/24/2025. Bachelor of Arts in nursing also accepted. Candidates with an Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) also encouraged to apply. *Agreement to complete BSN within three (3) years of hire required.Less than one (1) year of nursing experience required.Unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon required one week prior to hire date.BLS required.Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics is an equal opportunity employer.
