DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating and maintaining diet programs for residents and other individuals at the facility. This work involves planning and organizing nutritional care, preparing and modifying dietary plans in accordance with physician's orders and nutrition standards, and ensuring variety and quality in the menu options. You are also responsible for organizing nutritional assessments, discharge summaries, and making recommendations for food purchasing, finance, and quality assurance. This role requires a high level of initiative and the ability to utilize independent judgement.

- Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement:
- You must possess certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
