DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will serve as the CFO's Budget coordinator to support his role of reports to PSERS' Board at each Board meeting including the preparation of the Quarterly Budget and Expense Comparison. The Fiscal Management Specialist 2 provides administrative budget support for the various Division Managers within OFM, as well as for the agency overall with a complement of 382 and growing. Working under the direction of the Fiscal Management Specialist 3, this position requires a high level of independent judgment in coordinating procedures for the office. You will have the opportunity to analyze operations, policies, procedures, and problems, prepare a detailed and comprehensive report of findings and recommendations, and implement procedural or policy changes. - Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1; or
- One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
