Position Overview

As the VP, Platforms, reporting to the Global Platform Services Lead, you will guide clients and internal teams through the rapidly evolving digital marketing ecosystem, focusing on sophisticated platform adoption, data integration, and digital maturity strategies. You will act as a thought leader for platform strategy, steering the development and execution of data-driven solutions and supporting clients in navigating challenges such as privacy regulations and cookie decline. You will lead a senior analyst, foster strategic partnerships, and collaborate across departments to drive innovation and maximize client impact. This role will be dedicated to leading the Martech / Adtech strategy for a retail industry client.


Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy and Client Consultation: Develop and oversee platform strategy for a key client touching on areas including CDPs, Clean Rooms, Web Analytics, Experimentation, CRM, and 1st party data management.
  • Data Integration and Onboarding: Lead the consultation, integration, and maintenance of offline data sources into digital platforms, enhancing clients' audience segmentation and personalization capabilities.
  • CM360 Expertise: Leverage knowledge of CM360 to guide clients in offline data onboarding, enhancing reporting accuracy and targeting.
  • Privacy and Compliance: Drive client readiness for evolving privacy regulations and data collection limitations, ensuring compliance through innovative solutions and privacy-compliant methodologies.
  • Client Roadmaps for Digital Maturity: Define and execute data maturity roadmaps that align with client objectives, incorporating analytics, experimentation, and platform evolution to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across analytics, partnerships, and activation to integrate platform solutions, ensuring cohesive project delivery and knowledge-sharing across functions.
  • Thought Leadership and Innovation: Maintain KINESSO's position as a leader in platform services by exploring emerging technologies and integrating cutting-edge solutions into client strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of platform specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence to ensure team growth and client satisfaction.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Platform Proficiency: Expertise in key martech platforms, with demonstrated experience in offline data onboarding processes.
  • Strategic and Operational Leadership: Proven ability to design and execute strategic and tactical platform initiatives that drive client success and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Analytical and Technical Insight: Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Privacy and Data Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of privacy laws, cookie decline, and data collection regulations, with experience in implementing privacy-first solutions.
  • Collaborative and Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage and communicate technical concepts to diverse teams, ensuring alignment across projects and client needs.
  • Client-focused: Track record of success in a client-facing role within a digital marketing or media agency environment, with a deep understanding of client service excellence.
  • Leadership and Mentorship Experience: Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, with a focus on professional growth and performance excellence.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with retail media network adtech.
  • Background in vendor-side role, agency martech, consulting or strategic advisory roles within the digital marketing space.
  • Experience with data strategy and platform innovation initiatives in a media agency setting.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
