The RoleThe Buyer II position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing of indirect materials and some minor direct materials and services to support organizational needs. This role is located in Athens, Ohio. The Responsibilities

Internal Partners: Supports internal customers by processing purchase orders and communicating purchase order information to requisitioners and managers. Obtains management approvals for purchase orders. Communicates needs to internal suppliers. External Partners: General office and manufacturing environment. The Physical Demands:No strenuous physical activity. Typically, 25% of time in meetings or meetings individually with people, 75% of the time at the desk on computer/doing paperwork/ on phone. Walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time are routine to accomplish tasks in this role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position may be required to use Personal Protective Equipment as posted.
