Job Summary: The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will conduct testing on third party software, websites, and other technical products to identify, track, and resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
- Ensure the design specifications are complete and appropriate for the business needs and subsequent testing plans.
- Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Develops and modifies test plans as needed to ensure high quality solution delivery.
- Facilitates testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements, security requisites, and within established guidelines.
- Reports on success/failure of testing to Change Management process and provides recommendation for "go/no go" on production release.
- Analyzes, identifies, and reports trends in Quality Assurance defects. Monitors and follows through resolution efforts and tracks successes.
- Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects reporting up to IT and Change Management teams.
- Develops automated testing process where available and appropriate to streamline future upgrades.
- Evaluates vendor documentation and defect tracking to improve overall quality of off-the-shelf solutions utilized by the Bank.
- Reports vendor performance summary to Vendor Management process for consideration of replacement if product quality degrades to unreasonable level.
- When a product does not perform within specifications, report defects to vendor/third party while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
- Peer Review all testing documentation to ensure business requirements are covered.
- Identifying testing population and process steps.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to create test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge working with banking applications such as LoanVantage, COCC, nCino, Identifi (Preferred).
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
- Experience with MS-Office products, specifically; Visio, Excel, Word.

Experience and Skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
- 3 years of related experience (required)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task while completing projects under tight timelines
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Normal business office environment
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary
- Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance
