About the Unit

Team members hired into the Ambulatory Resource Center will provide temporary clinical staffing support at the 200+ Corewell Health West ambulatory practices across the system. Assignments vary in length from a couple weeks, up to 3-4 months (covering leaves of absence, open positions, extended time off, etc.) The goal is to keep team members as close to home as possible while meeting business needs, however this position does require some travel to various sites around West Michigan. Team members will not be required to travel more than 45 miles (one way) from their home address on file to their assigned work location.

**Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available. Minimum team member availability of 2 shifts (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) per week required (32 hours per 2-week pay period). **
Available Days: Monday- Friday
Core Hours: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient 'Ambulatory' clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work
Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and / or medical treatment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Nursing or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
  • 1 year of experience as an RN Required
  • 3-5 years of experience as an RN Preferred
