GENERAL SUMMARY: Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) are graduates of an accredited educational program and are nationally certified and state licensed professionals. The scope of practice is determined by state law and licensure, facility policy, education, professional judgement, personal experience, and practice agreement. Physician assistants are independent prescribers of Schedule II-V controlled substances, using their own DEA number and signature. The Float APP position will support Corewell Health's Primary Care practice in southeastern Michigan. The float APP will help cover for physician's during their time away from the office to provide continuity of care and patient access. Candidates will be required to travel to different primary practices located in southeastern Oakland County, Southern Macomb County, and Northeastern Wayne County.
