Learn about the employer and its place in the industry. 1.1 Shadow Directors in the company. 2. Exercise administrative skills. 2.1 Take notes/minutes from meetings. 2.2 Update PowerPoint presentations, create and review excel spreadsheets, create work documents. 2.3 Assist with data-entry and database management. 2.4 Provide general office support such as faxing, copying, filing, etc. 3. Exercise analytical skills. 3.1 Research information on the company's website, corpirate network, and external search enginges and research tools. 3.2 Assist the company in considering the effects of new and different social media outlets might be used to enhance the company's performance or visibility. 3.3 Review reports and summarize information. 4. Participate in training and exercise presentation skills. 4.1 Attend company training sessions/seminars on a variety of topics. 4.2 Present accomplishments/achievements to small group each week. 4.3 Keep a running list of all the different duties you perform as an intern.
