Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree. Completion of a residency in hospital pharmacy from a program accredited by the American Society of Hospital Pharmacists is desirable but not required. EXPERIENCE Two years experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred for this position. LICENSURE Licensed to practice pharmacy in Connecticut (or eligible for reciprocation) SPECIAL SKILLS This individual should demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, and understand pharmacy systems of drug distribution, and formulary management.
