At Atlas Copco Vacuum North America, the role of the Service Sales Engineer is critical in driving sales while ensuring an exceptional experience for both new and existing customers.

Your mission is to maximize the sustainable growth of our Vacuum Technique Service business across the territory by promoting sales of service products to all customers, observing agreed business plans, representing the Vacuum Technique Business Area in a manner that all products are promoted.As Service Sales Engineer, you will report into Regional Service Sales Manager.

  • You will plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business targets, managing personal time and productivity.
  • You will work together with service aftermarket team to provide good after sales service to customers and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • You will analyze and provide accurate market information to management, such as pricing situations, status of competitive activities and "red flag" issues related to business in the region.
  • You will undertake proposals of assigned service products, including the calculation of sales prices by applying the discounts strategy in place and using the appropriate quoting tool.
  • You will develop and maintain good customer relationships at all levels within the area and ensure an excellent standard of aftermarket service is provided.
  • You will monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information by updating the CRM with customer visit reports, opportunities and quotation status info.
  • You will partner with Finance department to improve the performance of receivables & overdue.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues from other Divisions to co-ordinate activities to maximize customer relationship and business outcome wherever possible.
  • You will attend sales meetings and ensure that all subsequent action required is undertaken.
  • You will grow the business through the development of the Installed base.
  • You will undertake ad-hoc project work related to VTS, including new products and Marketing Campaigns.
  • You will provide Customer information / feedback.
  • Scope of Job - Product Sales 80%, Personal Development 10%, Reporting 10%

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience in industrial service sales. Preferably in the vacuum industry.
  • You have understanding of what value-based selling intends for Service business.
  • You have technical understanding and ability to quickly adopt to new products/technical developments.
  • You have a clear understanding of optimized territory management.
  • You have sales techniques and skills
  • You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
