This is a 11-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. Our goal is to equip new team members with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to thrive in their roles, fostering a positive and engaging start to their journey with us. Through a combination of training, team introductions, and ongoing support, we aim to ensure that every employee feels welcome and empowered to contribute to our success. What You'll Do This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Human Resources, specifically focusing on the onboarding process. The intern will assist in ensuring a seamless integration for new hires, contributing to various HR projects, and supporting the overall employee experience. The intern will work with the onboarding team, and partner effectively with our HR Career & Learning team, as well as Executive Development team. Potential Projects:
- Update content for executive onboarding. Potentially partner with key stakeholders to develop and launch some learning experiences within the executive onboarding experience.
- Manage content updates and processes for M&A activity.
- Audit New Hire Orientation and recommend revisions and updates to the team.
- Research onboarding best practices related to in-person experiences and make recommendations to the team.
- Review current employee onboarding surveys and recommend updates in partnership with People Insights and Reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support the onboarding process, procedures and best practices
- Manage and update onboarding communications
- Assist with onboarding communications and SharePoint site management
- Manage content updates to suite of onboarding services by communicating and partnering with facilitation team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with hiring managers, new hires, leadership and business stakeholders regarding program related issues, exceptions, enhancements, etc.
What It Takes
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Office Suite products
- Ability to learn SharePoint management and maintenance.
- Ability to learn new tools, technology and processes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication abilities for clear and concise interactions
- Solid understanding of HR processes and T-Mobile's business operations (preferred)
- Adaptability to shift priorities quickly as needed
- Openness to learning new skills and embracing new challenges
- Excellent follow up, time management, prioritization and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on projects. Strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
- Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location. Never stop growing!
