We're seeking a dynamic Project Executive to lead a transformative 8-10 year program, with multiple projects in Southern West Virginia and beyond, starting in Q3 2025. What You'll Do
As a Project Executive, you'll spearhead high-value industrial processing plant projects ($200M-$300M+), overseeing all phases from design to owner handover. Your leadership will drive project success, foster client relationships, and shape our company's growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead with Impact: Guide project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers, to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Drive Financial Success: Oversee budgets, profitability, and financial management, ensuring timely invoicing and receivables.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate lasting partnerships with clients, designers, and stakeholders to secure new opportunities and enhance business development.
- Innovate and Optimize: Integrate advanced tools, lean construction methods, and technologies like robotics to streamline workflows and improve outcomes.
- Ensure Compliance and Safety: Enforce safety protocols, manage contracts, and mitigate risks in collaboration with legal counsel.
- Mentor and Grow: Develop high-performance teams through coaching, hiring, and performance feedback, fostering a culture of excellence.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited university.
- 20+ years of experience in industrial processing plant construction management, with a track record of leading projects valued at $200M+.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build effective teams and manage diverse stakeholders.
- Expertise in construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency in tools like Vista, Procore, and Microsoft Office; advanced presentation skills.
- Fluent English; Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Ability to travel (approximately 50%) between New Orleans, LA, and Southern West Virginia, with flexibility to be based in either location.
