Description

This role reports to the Sr. Director, Finance. Responsibilities will include financial analytical solutions that will involve working with a variety of business groups including finance, operations, product management, sales, service, procurement, and engineering. Preferred skills include advanced capability in ETL tools (ex: Alteryx, SAS, Azure Data Factory), fluent in a common programming language(s) (ex: SQL and/or Python), advanced capability in a Data Visualization tool (ex: Power BI or Tableau), and some background in Finance/Accounting. The ideal candidate should enjoy problem solving and be comfortable with incomplete data. Experience with any of these 3 ERPs is a plus (SAP, Microsoft D365, and Infor LN).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Master Data model development owner in MDM (Master Data Management) software on 1 or more key master data dimensions including Vendor and Customer, including driving Master Data Management and Governance accountability where necessary to achieve high quality and sustainable results.


  • Assist with development of the global stacked margin profit model where necessary, which may include assisting in development of profit model allocation logic.
  • Work with large data sets to create systematic data transformations and analytics, which may include developing analytical solutions to drive value using experience in ML (Machine Learning)/AI (Artificial Intelligence).
  • Lead on ETL/Analytics technology stack of the future for our team, implementation plan, strategy, including testing technology to meet our team's business requirements.
  • Responsible for working collaboratively with various leaders to develop methodologies and validate results.
  • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and proactively identify opportunities to drive value.
  • Lead global data sourcing integration from sources to global data warehouse to meet any of the needs above, including but not limited to:


    • Creating JIRA tasks/stories (project management software) for Data Engineers with clear requirements and examples of what success looks like.
    • Development and execution of testing plans.




ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience working with financial statements to analyze, extract, and understand results.
  • Experienced developer in Advanced Analytics tools: Alteryx, SAS, Azure Data Factory, or comparable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with teams across organization.
  • Experienced developer in Data Visualization tool(s): Power BI, Tableau.
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple ERP systems a plus: (SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor LN, AS-400).
  • Knowledge of OneStream is a plus.



AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or other relevant Analytics fields with demonstrated high level of data skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:




  • Bachelors degree


  • CPA or MBA a plus
