Yours included. * Position will travel to different PPOC office locations in Newton, Wellesley, Cambridge, Revere, Chelsea and Everett. May need to support practices outside of normal region depending on need* The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for: Daily logging of tasks and activities via JIRA Service Desk User and device onboarding Providing end user support for various applications Participation in team meetings and collaboration for upcoming projects Providing onsite support for hardware and software upgrades Providing prompt and courteous resolution to user requests and issues Providing security, compliance and HIPAA checks at all practices In order to qualify, you must have: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field MCSA, A+ , CISSP desirable Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and electronic medical record systems helpful Knowledge of physician practice management systems and workflow helpful Minimum 3 years' experience with PC hardware and software, printers, notebooks, Macs, iPads, and mobile devices Experience supporting Windows 10 and macOS Experience with Active Directory Experience with security and protection tools, antivirus and malware detection and removal Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, VPN, Wi-Fi Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and Citrix desirable Knowledge of JIRA helpful Knowledge of Cisco Meraki network gear as well as switches, routers, and firewalls desirable Must own a reliable car and be able work remotely and independently Local travel: up to 90% Must be able to lift 50lbs Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including a rotating days/evenings and week-end schedule, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes (50% off).
