Senior Director, Clinical and Business Integration

Elwyn is currently seeking a Senior Director, Clinical and Business Integration to be responsible for aligning clinical processes with organizational and divisional goals to ensure optimization of the services provided throughout Adult Behavioral Health. This role requires strong clinical skills, project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets. Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with regional leadership to develop streamlined and patient centered clinical processes that are in compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Establish strong working relationships with referral sources throughout ABH to increase community visibility.
- Design, implement, and manage special projects related to program admissions, such as process improvements, outreach initiatives, and patient engagement programs.
- Coordinate all involved parties for the intake and admissions systems per the admission protocols for all ABH programs including but not limited to the process from referral to acceptance, designing forms, writing/updating policies and procedures regarding intake, writing/updating the intake piece of the program participant handbooks, service planning, case activation with funders and initiating billing within Elwyn systems
- Develop and execute communication plans to promote special projects to staff, patients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear messaging and engagement. Provide information and tours to agencies, families and individuals interested in placement planning, forwarding descriptive literature and information as necessary
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program access, client satisfaction, and outreach effectiveness.
- Serve as interdepartmental clinical liaison to ensure consistent and reliable communication between departments.
- Ability to build relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, social services and other referral sources
- Ability to maintain current awareness of changes in the industry through self- education, peer education and professional
- Ability to conduct education to patients, families, and community stakeholders on ABH services and admission standards.
- Ability to attend and actively participate in all mandatory facilities in-services and staff development activities as scheduled to achieve goals of teamwork and education.
- Participate with the full management team in new development of services and special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
(a) At least three (3) years of experience working directly with people with behavioral health concerns (b) A minimum of 5 years management experience in a Behavioral healthcare setting (b) A human services professional (Licensed Strongly Preferred) possessing at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field.
- Working knowledge of funding source operations preferred
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred
- Experience with admissions protocols and processes, intake systems, billing systems and case activation with funders
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and to lead cross functional projects
- Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions
- Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; PowerPoint and report-writer experience preferred
- Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, 2 years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record
