What you'll be doing...

This position will be responsible for leading teams responsible for the end-to end project management of integrations (Acquisitions) and dispositions (Divestitures) on behalf of Verizon. This SR Director will be responsible for taking the lead on deliverables and timing of all aspects of the integration beginning with defining the integration strategy, risks, and potential integration costs during M&A due diligence. This position will also facilitate between many cross functional teams to ensure a smooth and successful transition on Day 1 and beyond. The position will drive various teams to meet strict and tight deadlines as well as achieve synergy savings targets.

  • Lead the Integration (or Divestiture) Management Office and associated project deliverables.

  • Act as an escalation point to Senior Management on critical issue / risk / decision points and management of these elements on an ongoing basis. Overseeing individual threads / functions, plans, and oversight of an integrated plan for development and deployment activities.

  • Individual will be required to analyze the individual functional team/SME integration (or separation) plans to ensure that the program is leveraging each resource group appropriately.

  • Lead the collection, reporting and presentation of multiple data elements to forecast the progress of the program and individual projects and identify critical issues to Senior Management

  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure work streams are properly resourced based on level of effort.

  • Articulate and present the direction for program work streams with regard to process, deliverables and timelines.

  • Leverage a broad knowledge of standard Program Management Office practices and serve as a subject matter resource to support enhancements to the program.

  • Proactively identify and manage the risk profile of each assigned work thread, with particular focus on synergy risks as well as cross functional risks due to thread dependency.

  • Support resource assignment, time tracking, and other initiatives that are involved in the management of the overall project plans.

  • Support the creation of executive reporting through presentations or dashboards and update Senior Management with weekly and monthly status, issues, and risks that impact the program.

What we're looking for...
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree; 10+ years of relevant project management work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in managing and/or leading the actual execution of a M&A integration (or disposition) with evidence of a management role in post signing activities and actions

  • 3+ years of telecom or technology experience.

  • PMP Certification

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $214,000.00 and $397,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
