About this Position:

Provide Technical Leadership for all daily Supplier/Plant Issues which require containment, handwork, multi part investigation, quick countermeasures to reduce/eliminate plant impact for GDP and Downtime while supporting SOM/Supplier investigation through accurate report generation.

Responsibilities include:



  • Lead NARS report correlation for all HDMA Plants to assure report and cost accuracy
  • Managing associates for all high time and high impact repair projects
  • Responsible for all incoming new hire and EDP training/mentorship plan
  • Technical Leader to assure parts meet drawing and specifications to assure conformance
  • Responsible to lead Body/Chassis supplier quality engineers to assure problem containment of parts and completed body units
  • Responsible for reviewing the previous shifts reports, and completing full investigation
  • Daily confirmation of sort effectiveness of current quality concerns



Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:



  • 8-10 years based on education



Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or 10 years equivalent experience



Desired skills:



  • Quality assurance, blueprint reading, part measurement, Catia/3D, MS office proficient, negotiation and communication skills



Working Conditions:



  • Open Office Environment, walking, sorting parts, limited travel, and overtime possible (Approximately 4 hours of overtime per week)
