Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location(s): Mobile, AL

Context:


  • Client has recently expanded its industrial operations in the U.S. by establishing a new Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Mobile, Alabama, dedicated to assembling the A320 family of aircraft-one of Client's most popular single-aisle jet models.
  • This expansion is part of Client's strategy to bring production closer to its North American customer base and strengthen global manufacturing capacity.
  • Originally launched in 2015, the Mobile FAL has since expanded to include the assembly of the larger A220 model, enabling Client to boost production rates and enhance supply chain resilience to better meet the needs of U.S. clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Building Handover Supervision: Coordinate the physical handover of ten buildings, ensuring all facilities meet Client standards.
  • BRD Compliance Assurance: Ensure all infrastructure complies with the specifications outlined in Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Infrastructure Deployment: Oversee the deployment of necessary IT infrastructure to support the operations of the new assembly line, ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Manage interactions with five different service providers (e.g., cabling, communication systems) to ensure a smooth and efficient integration of essential services.
  • Coordination and Dynamism: This role demands energy and proactivity to manage a fast-paced, evolving work environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • IT Project Management: Strong skills in managing technical projects, particularly in infrastructure deployment environments.
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with IT infrastructure compliance requirements within an industrial setting.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams and vendors.
  • Proactivity and Autonomy: Ability to anticipate needs and work independently to meet deadlines.
