Position Description
Job Title: Regional Product Support Manager (Southwest Region)
Reports To: Technical Services Manager
ABC Companies, a leader in the motorcoach industry, is seeking a
Product Support Manager to provide advanced technical support, mobile repairs, and customer training for ABC-supported products across the Southwest region (SoCal,AZ,NM, Southern Nevada and HI). ). This role requires a skilled technician capable of hands-on repair and maintenance as well as delivering comprehensive technical training to customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be based in the SoCal area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and mobile repair services for ABC-supported products, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and service campaigns at customer locations.
- Travel throughout the Southwest region (SoCal,AZ,NM, Southern Nevada and HI) to service and support ABC products, with the potential for occasional travel outside your assigned area as needed.
- Serve as a technical advisor, resolving product issues and warranty claims for customers.
- Lead technical training sessions for customers and internal teams, ensuring they are well-versed in the operation and maintenance of ABC-supported products.
- Coordinate and deliver hands-on, in-depth training on various systems including Van Hool, Eberspacher, and other ABC offerings, both annually and as needed.
- Investigate and respond to customer feedback, analyzing and troubleshooting product concerns, and providing timely recommendations and reports to management.
- Stay current with annual training requirements and updates for all ABC product offerings, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Complete customer visits according to the prescribed schedule to provide information, technical support and assistance for new and existing ABC sold Products, Eberspacher, and ABC customers.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Formal training or extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing coach systems, including HVAC and high-voltage AC/DC electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, use commissioning software, and understand Electric Vehicle (EV) architecture.
- Mechanical experience with commercial vehicles and high-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Allison, Eberspacher, Carrier, and high-voltage systems.
- Experience in delivering technical training, with strong communication and instructional skills.
- Strong time-management, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with experience managing multiple projects.
- CDL Class B with passenger endorsement preferred.
- Good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames and working with customers, vendors, and coach builders.
- Regular travel required. Mon-Fri at a minimum
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required; college degree in Transportation, Industrial, Electrical, or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the transportation or electric vehicle field.
- Experience in both electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on HVAC (high and low voltage). HVAC (High and Low Voltage) system experience preferred.
- Field service and technical training experience highly desirable.
