Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop, program, and utilize CMM routines for the inspection of product, gages, and fixtures.

- Perform detailed inspections using laser scanning processes to ensure conformance to specifications.

- Utilize metrology equipment and techniques to measure and verify dimensions of products and product tooling.

- Utilize different software programs for the inspection, evaluation, and documenting records.

- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and maintain accurate inspection records.

- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues on the floor.

- Assist in developing and maintaining quality control documentation, including work instructions and inspection plans.

- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address non-conformances.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.

- Provide support and training to production staff on quality-related matters.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

- Position may require shift work and/or weekends.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and quality systems.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to work on the production floor as needed.

- Post-High School secondary education (Bachelors or Associates degree) in a technical field.

- 0-1 years of experience in Quality Assurance, within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with CMM programming and operation, including scanning parts.

- Metrology certification or extensive experience with metrology equipment and practices.

- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

- Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
