Responsibilities

Follows all safety, environmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines

Uses all required safety equipment.

Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. Maintains the highest standards for product quality and service.

Ensures all bulk liquids meet loading and unloading quality requirements prior to loading or unloading.

Testing is performed in accordance with guidelines and standard test methods. Records data as prescribed.

Calibrates, adjusts and monitors lab testing equipment in accordance with prescribed guidelines.

Unloads bulk liquids from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using pumps, filters, and valves

Inspects delivery vehicles for cleanliness prior to loading. Loads bulk liquids from storage to delivery vehicles using pumps, filters, and valves. Completes shipping paperwork as required. Ensures delivery vehicles and paperwork meet DOT and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Monitors transfers to ensure proper quantities are transferred and to ensure that tanks or delivery vehicles are not overfilled. Monitors transfers to ensure no leaks or spills occur. Promptly reports leaks and spills and cleans up as required.

May assist with other material handling activities including: restocking non-bulk raw materials, transporting empty containers to the proper disposal area, and transporting and disposing of waste materials in the proper area.

Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

High school graduate or GED

Ability to work in a team environment and able to be cross-functional

Excellent attention to detail

Basic math skills, i.e. addition/subtraction

Ability to work safely and follow SOP's.

Good interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to use company software and computer system.

Must be willing to work assigned shift, plus overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Must be able to drive a forklift and trailer jockey.

Must be able to wear a respirator.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Experience offloading and loading large vehicles with chemicals a plus

Ability to be fitted to wear a respirator

Frequency of upper and lower extremity activity throughout shift:

Constant grasping with dominate hand (6-8+ hours)

Frequent fine hand manipulation, pushing, pulling and reaching above and below shoulder throughout shift.

Constant walking (6-8+ hours)

Getting onto forklifts and pallet truck

Manual lifting of product, upwards of 70 lbs.

Ability to use forklift and pallet truck

Ability to use a respirator
