As a Specialist, Compliance at RXO, you will help ensure that RXO meets and adheres to all customs requirements. This is a new and exciting role to support our customs compliance team. This role is critical to our company's success.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Work close with all entry writers for preparation and classification of documents
  • Interface directly with Customs Team and CBP on relevant issues relating to imports or exports of goods
  • Help maintain classification database.
  • Assist with all compliance related questions or concerns
  • Audit files for compliance/accuracy with Customs/PGA requirements
  • Ensure transactions (import/export) meet compliance expectations set forth by US Customs regulations
  • Manage reporting as necessary
  • Bond renewals for customers as needed
  • Any other duties as determined by management
  • Support compliance inquires, from sales and operations

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Basic knowledge of and experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office
  • 1 year of experience accurately inputting information into and retrieving information from the computer

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration
  • Availability to work additional hours as needed, which may include evenings and weekends
  • 2 years of contract management experience, related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of logistics/customs or transportation experience
