Summary
The Reliability Compliance and Standards Engineer supports the Manager in the implementation and maintenance of NYPA's program for compliance with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation's (NERC) Reliability Standards; the Northeast Power Coordinating Council's (NPCC) Regional Standards and Criteria; and the New York State Reliability Council's (NYSRC) Rules. The individual works with various departments within NYPA including; engineering, operations, corporate security, information services, training, human resources, and others to ensure compliance with the applicable standards. #LI-VB1 Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
Approximately 25% travel throughout New York State to NYPA's operating facilities and the geographic area covered by the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC), as necessary. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The target salary range for this position is: $99,350.00 - $136,600.00. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
