The Millwright / Pipefitter performs the installation, maintenance, service, repair, and rebuilding of all plant equipment, including buildings and grounds.The role will be located in Bristol, PA and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.



Responsibilities

    Effectively troubleshoot mechanical problems in the field.
  • Understand, execute and follow all life critical procedures in the execution of maintenance activities.
  • Repair, install, and service all plant equipment.
  • Perform all tasks necessary as assigned to support plant operations
  • Test all work for proper operation prior to turnover to production.
  • Provide feedback to supervision pertaining to out of calibration instrumentation and any abnormal equipment observations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized shop and clean design practices during day to day work activities.
  • Follow planning and scheduling protocols for the completion and documentation of work order status.
  • Support BBS process by performing observations
  • Support Loss Control policy, ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001 Management Systems.

Will maintain proficiencies in the following areas:

  • General mechanical
  • Piping threading and fitting
  • Rotating equipment rebuilding and alignment (mechanical seals, bearings, and couplings, etc.).
  • Manual mill and lathe safety and operations
  • General troubleshooting.
  • Reading and understanding PIDs, electrical prints and equipment drawings.
  • Welding (Mig, Tig, Stick)


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing experience, with focus in millwright (Multi-Craft Mechanic) is required
  • A Journeymen in Millwright/Machinist is preferred
  • 5+ years of Welding experience (Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum) is required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Basic skills in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000, and OSHA PSM procedures is preferred
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work at significant heights
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds; both to carry and to lift overhead
  • Must be able to wear a respirator
  • Must be able to enter confined spaces
