STV's National Rail team is looking for a skilled Construction Manager to oversee multiple rail construction projects in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. This role involves daily on-site project management, quality control, and collaboration with contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with contractors to establish and maintain project schedules. Oversee multiple construction activities daily, ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. Conduct thorough reviews of project plans and specifications to confirm feasibility before construction begins. Assess construction work and identify when major changes are necessary. Perform and monitor field quality assurance tests to ensure compliance with project requirements. Complete detailed quality assurance checks across all aspects of construction. Provide daily, on-site oversight and documentation of construction progress, monitoring the quality and quantity of work by both contractors and QC/QA inspection teams to minimize defects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, including familiarity with construction methods, specifications, and drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Technical certifications in earthwork, concrete, and weld inspection are beneficial but not required. Ability and willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed by the project. Working Environment: Field-based role, often in variable and uncontrolled conditions such as extreme heat, cold, rain, or snow. This role may require working without a field office, with work occasionally conducted from a vehicle. Physical capability to navigate rough terrain, steep grades, and densely vegetated areas. Comfortable working on elevated structures, including bridges, with appropriate safety measures. Compensation Range: $106,908.24 - $142,544.33Don't meet every single requirement?
