Overview Job Summary
Provide promotional, administrative, performance assessment, and financial/accounting services in support of assigned program(s) within a research center, academic unit, or other campus units of a school. These functions may encompass a variety of activities related to program success including coordination of program marketing, program administration, program operations, and program development. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: research, academic and administrative management and staff with a school or center and across campus, vendors and sponsors. The primary focus of this role will be to support students served by the Office of Scholar Programs, specifically by implementing programming, events, and mentoring of Tech Promise Scholars. This includes organizing logistics for onboarding, orientation, retreats, and other scholar activities. Event and program logistical support will account for roughly 50% of the position, while serving individual students through mentoring, directly and indirectly, will account for 25%. The estimated remaining 25% will include accounting, reporting, and modest recruiting responsibilities. |
