The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Variable Hours Officers (Neurophysiology Coordinator) will work under the supervision of the Chief Neurophysiology Technologist and is supervised by Medical Director and Senior Manager Clinical Operations. Responsibilities The Variable Hours Officers (Neurophysiology Coordinator) will perform studies on patients of all age groups, including neonates, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Will also participate in recording studies according to approved clinical research protocols as necessary. The holder of this position should provide technically excellent Sleep/EEG testing and procedures in a fiscally sound and productive manner. Will be responsible for performing all neurophysiology laboratory activities. This includes troubleshooting of equipment problems, maintenance of equipment and supplies in working order, and working with information technology at Columbia University, Department of Neurology, NYP, and vendors as needed. The VHO will have a strong information technology understanding of systems software and troubleshooting issues.
