Overview
We are looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Consultant for our global manufacturing client on a project basis. This role is a fully remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns
- Support property tax compliance matters and perform reviews
- Provide support in GL reconciliation
- Support routine sales and use tax questions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields required
- 5 - 7+ years of relevant indirect tax experience preferred
- Strong technology skills preferred
- Previous experience with Vertex Tax Software, SAP, Alteryx and/or PowerBI preferred
- Experience consulting with a diverse range of clients on state and local taxes, sales, and use taxation preferred
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
