Summary of Position |
Under the administrative supervision of the ReGen Valley Common Campus Senior Program Manager, this position is critical to the operation of the ReGen Valley Common Campus ("RVCC").
The ReGen Valley Common Campus is a collaborative and integrated consortium that is focused on propelling the workforce of the nascent biofabrication industry in ReGen Valley.
In the context of the Common Campus model, the
RVCC Workforce Counselor will counsel individuals in exploring educational, personal or career goals related to the biofabrication industry; identify interests, skills, training or educational pathways; relate employment and educational experience to biofabrication career options; and develop concrete action steps to enter the biofabrication workforce.
The
RVCC Workforce Counselor will be expected to meet individuals in one-on-one or in groups at the
UNH-Manchester campus, at other Common Campus institutions, or in the broader community. |

Duty/Responsibility |
- Serve as the lead workforce counselor for the ReGen Valley Common Campus
- Administer and interpret individual interest, skill, abilities, and values assessment instruments
- Present institution-agnostic educational and/or training opportunities and pathways to individuals
- Identify and connect individuals to wrap-around services, such as housing, transportation, childcare, etc
- Stay current with workforce counseling trends - develop an external workforce training network and learn from best practices
- Collaborate with peers in other Common Campus institutions to continuously inform and innovate workforce counseling
- Conduct visits at high-schools, training centers, institutions of higher learning, etc., to educate the broader workforce of career opportunities in biofabrication

- Meet with Common Campus institutions, such as universities, colleges, centers, etc. to align Common Campus workforce counseling practices and procedures to existing practices and procedures
- Work with Common Campus institutions' Admissions teams to identify, clarify, and present educational and training opportunities
- Work with Common Campus institutions' Career teams to identify, clarify, and present career opportunities
- Generate CRM data, made available to all Common Campus institutions, providing insight into workforce counseling efforts

- In association with Common Campus staff, organize, deliver, and participate in Common Campus meetings, tradeshows, job fairs, etc
- Support Common Campus constituent institutions' admissions and career fairs
- Develop and use standardized methodology for program development to include goals and learning objectives
