As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining propane equipment for our customers. Exceptional customer service is essential. Service Technicians can expect to work local routes and be home every night; however, on-call rotations for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, assist in installations, repairs, and maintains propane equipment for retail customers.
  • Develops knowledge and trains on how to load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane to and from specified destinations.
  • Assists in inspecting vehicles and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
  • Under direct supervision, assists in preparing and maintaining records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
  • Under direct supervision, during daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service/safety information and answering inquires.
  • Will be required to train with team members who are working on call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response as needed.
  • Once qualified, may be required to drive a Bobtail truck base on business needs and/or "On Call" rotation
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Under direct supervision, may work on propane appliances when needed.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years related experience.
  • Good driving record
  • Commercial driver's license Class B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
