Organizational Unit Overview |
The Office of Student Services is part of the College of Nursing. Student Services is responsible for the oversight of marketing, recruitment, admission, enrollment and retention initiatives, advisement of undergraduate nursing majors, registration, compliance, and graduation services in the College of Nursing. This office serves enrolled undergraduate and graduate students as well as prospective students to facilitate academic success. Student Services is a dynamic and busy office setting that provides essential services to enrich the student experience during enrollment. |
Job Duties |
This position will be responsible for supporting tasks associated with marketing, admission, retention, academic success initiatives and student transition to career initiatives. This position will work with internal and external constituents to meet the requirements of the position and will navigate complex and sensitive confidential situations on a regular basis. This position coordinates enrollment services for all students (pre-licensure
BSN and
MSN) after admission through graduation (i.e. registration and other tasks). This position coordinates and triages phone calls, walk-in students as well as schedule appointments. It also maintains in-depth knowledge of programs offered at the undergraduate and graduate level and relay information using strong written and verbal communication. Supports the coordination of student progression in the College of Nursing) and monitors program progression for the pre-licensure
BSN and
MSN students. This position will provide reports (course rosters, graduation reports, enrollment reports, etc.) regarding Student Services budget and student files. This position will maintain knowledge of program, policies, procedures, technology, and best practices in all areas related to higher education,
ECU, and the College of Nursing. This position also assists the Executive Director of the Office of Student Services with activities such as graduation, new student orientations and other tasks determined appropriate to support student success. |
Minimum Education/Experience |
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
