Responsibilities

    Assists in developing specific, realistic, and measurable treatment goals and objectives.
  • Accurately assesses and documents client presenting problems, history, symptomology, mental status, and diagnosis. Prescribes initial interventions in a timely manner.
  • Employs strategies of intervention that are consistent with empirically supported treatments and consistent with program expectations.
  • Remains current in general knowledge of psychopharmacology in pediatric behavioral healthcare and collaborates consistently with team psychiatrists.
  • Coordinates client care with other service providers and community resources to assure continuity of care.
  • Completes clinical charting and other related administrative paperwork in accordance with policy standards.


Qualifications

Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy, required.
  • Doctorate, preferred.

Licensure Requirement:

Appropriate Independent Ohio licensure, required.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, peers and community representatives.

Experience:

Experience providing and managing behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents and families, required.
