We're seeking an Environmental Scientist in the Denver Metro/Lakewood, Colorado area to join our team and play a vital role in helping us manage sustainability. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 to $22.00.
What you'll do:
* Perform field work including collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples
* Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems
* Become proficient in use and maintenance field monitoring equipment
* Conduct Phase I environmental site inspections
* Conduct stormwater inspections to ensure adherence to plans or regulatory
* Gather and manage data manually and electronically requirements
* Enter data into tables and figures and update report templates
* Actively develop your own professional growth and manage your own schedule
* Actively participate in a culture of safe work practices

What we're looking for:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar field
* Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable transportation are required
* Recent graduate or someone with up to 3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection
* Comfortable working outside year-round and traveling for work up to one week at a time, including travel to remote project sites
* Ability to work >8-hour days, lift 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time (with breaks)
* Ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* Experience with data management and report preparation preferred
* Experience with safety programs and safe work practices
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
