Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper funding and loan boarding of residential mortgage loans (FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, Conventional Portfolio ) in accordance with company and investor guidelines. This will include the efficient use of our technology systems to apply the proper funding procedures for all types of mortgages. Successful candidates will be able to rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the following essential duties and responsibilities. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualifications
- 2-4 years recent work experience includes two or more years experience as a Funder for Conventional, FHA and VA loans, with at least one year experience funding FHA loans.
- Prior work experience may also include positions closing loans.
- General knowledge of loan documentation and closing review.
- Knowledge of RESPA-TILA regulations (TRID), collateral control, compliance and secondary markets.
- Familiar with the bank's regulatory guidelines for consumer and residential lending.
- Able to manage high volume of activity and maintain production goals.
- Good oral and written communications and organizational skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Encompass software knowledge preferred, Excel and Word. Industry related education a plus.
- Exercise sound judgment in executing core job responsibilities
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field Preferred
