Territory Sales Manager (Arizona)
Typical Base Pay - $75,000 - $95,000 (DOE)

In this role you'll be a key member of a high-performance Regional Sales Team, selling our premiere sports optics products to accounts in your assigned territory. You'll manage relationships with existing customers, develop new business opportunities, and execute strategies for marketing and selling our products to increase sales and market share within your territory.
For over 100 years, we've manufactured high-quality products right here in the USA. We still operate out of our Oregon-based factory to this day, producing innovative, battle-proven optics for the world's most relentless hunters, shooters, law enforcement officers, and military personnel. What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the development and execution of strategic sales programs and collaborating with accounts in an assigned territory to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Developing a territory management plan to oversee all account-based sales, marketing and training activity.
- Achieving monthly and annual sales targets and attaining market share growth objectives within assigned territory.
- Working with Regional Sales Manager to effectively plan spending of Territory Development Fund.
- Managing and build lasting personal relationships with key customers and decision makers. Identifying and securing new business opportunities within both existing and new accounts.
- Communicating with all current and potential customers on a regular basis by providing forward-looking business goals, optimized regionally and seasonally relevant assortments and inventory levels, providing product information and assets, sales program support and excellent customer service.
- Coordinating with Sales Operations on order booking and management (allocation, booking, returns) and overseeing administrative and technical matters before and after delivery.
- Regularly submitting sales reports and field intelligence on competitive landscape and product trends.
- Provide frequent and thorough in-store and field product trainings across all categories.
- Attending sales meetings, training programs, and trade shows as requested.
- Providing full retail support to National Accounts locations within defined territory.
- Properly maintain company vehicle and L&S provided product samples.
Skills & Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and 5+ years of outside sales experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Thorough knowledge of shooting sports optical products, leading firearms systems and related distribution channels and retail operations.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify customer and account needs and define solutions to meet those needs.
- Experience effectively managing accounts.
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities to ensure highest service levels.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Demonstrated commitment to achieving exceptional customer service levels.
- Excellent, written, oral, public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently while maximizing time tables.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Work Environment:
Work takes place remotely in a home office environment (ideally located in the greater Phoenix, AZ area). This role requires frequent travel within territories over 50%, to the L&S Corporate Office, and to National Trade and Consumer events. You'll need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs., have a good driving record, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
