Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Capability Integrator, you will provide technical support for programs, processes, and capabilities within the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) located in Arlington, VA area.

Responsibilities

As the Capability Integrator with MTSI, you will provide technical support for programs, processes, and capabilities within the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).

Work locations are at DARPA in the Ballston area of Arlington, VA and at the Pentagon with opportunities for situational telework.

Your primary responsibilities are to:

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and leverage available tools, processes, and forums to proactively facilitate requirements development, implementation, and sustainment of information technology (IT) capabilities supporting OUSD(R&E) MC personnel.
  • Assist in technology concept development; modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A); and IT infrastructure activities necessary to support the advancement of warfighter capability development.
  • Contribute to the integration of advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities to assess future concepts, test operational hypothesis, and inform Joint CONOPS integration.
  • Assist in the execution of administrative functions such as budgeting, project management, contracting, and other complementary activities, ensuring OUSD(R&E) MC IT initiatives contribute to OUSD(R&E) MC mission success.
  • Assist in the development of work products supporting inquiries from US Congressional representatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with MS&A processes, workflows, designs of experiment, execution plans, and results reporting associated with Joint, all-domain warfighting concepts, such as kill chain operations, platform and system models, scenario generation and execution, trade studies, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Experience establishing and leading cross-functional stakeholder teams, particularly teams consisting of cybersecurity, software development, operational research (OR), and business operations personnel.
  • Experience with advanced computing solutions such as high-performance computing (HPC), cloud computing, and similar distributed computing architectures.
  • Experience performing duties in highly classified environments, respecting the challenges and opportunities offered by such environments.
  • Familiarity with computing system infrastructure implementations, including data centers, networks, help desk support operations, and commercial vendor relations.
  • Experience planning and executing systems analysis efforts for the DoD and/or IC.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture key issues for DoD decision-makers.
  • Self-starter, able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
