Overview Performs specific patient care procedures (such as, phlebotomy, wound care, gastric and urethral tube insertion and bedside testing) under the direction of a licensed Nurse and / or performs specific support-procedures for the operation of a Nursing or Clinical Department. High school or equivalent plus specialized, short-term training in medical / surgical patient care or the delivery of special care.
Responsibilities *Monitors patients and collects information for documentation in the patient record. Stamps and assembles patient charts. Posts laboratory and other tests results. Transports patients and documents action on patient record. Collects and records vital signs, weights, and other patient data in patient record. Administers oxygen under the direction of a licensed Nurse. Assists nurses and physicians with sterile procedures. Benefits Learn more about our employee benefits.
