Sales, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Solution Architects, Business Development, Transformation, and Technology Partnerships all work together to demonstrate the power and agility of Zscaler cloud transformation to the world.

We are seeking a strategic and versatile Business Strategy leader who will report to the GVP of the Americas Sales Organization. You will focus on driving business outcomes through cross-functional leadership, operational efficiency, and external engagement. You will work with the GVP to build important priorities, facilitate internal and external understanding, and ensure strategic programs are implemented. You will support customer engagement efforts, event preparation, and executive-level communications.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the GVP to define and prioritize strategic programs for the Americas sales team, ensuring understanding of broader team goals and tracking progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Cross Team Collaboration: Lead coordination across teams such as Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, P&C and Customer Success to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
  • Customer & External Engagement: Partner with the GVP on high-stakes customer interactions, external communications, and customer events. Support executive-level presentations, reports and engagement by creating decks and facilitating smooth meeting experiences with important customers and partners, ensuring the GVP is fully equipped to lead discussions, both internally and externally.
  • Event Leadership & Preparation: Oversee us and preparation for major sales events, customer summits, and external forums. Ensure the GVP is well-prepared with impactful content, presentations, and briefings for maximum impact.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Collaborate with P&C and the leadership team to support the development and retention of top talent, while promoting an inclusive and performance-driven culture within the Americas sales organization.


What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of extensive experience in strategy development and cross-functional leadership, within the SaaS industry or other technology sectors.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and lead event preparation, including the delivery of executive-level presentations and reports
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and facilitation skills with a focus on driving results.

  • A proactive self-starter with a high degree of adaptability and a willingness to travel to support the GVP and sales teams
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed organizations and driving understanding across multiple teams.

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$168,000 $240,000 USD
