Job Summary Directs and coordinates a comprehensive fund raising and development program and strategies to identify, cultivate and solicit from individuals, corporations and foundations, capital and major gifts on a continuing basis and consistent with fundraising goals of Prisma Health.
Essential Functions

Responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of the Foundation and fundraising efforts to meet annual goals (including special events, annual gifts, planned gifts, grants, etc.). Manages the daily operations of the Foundation, including staff support, staff evaluations, budgeting and administrative functions as required. Assures funds are raised and utilized in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and donor's wishes. Develops and recruits volunteer leaders, provides staff support and oversight for Foundation Board, Hospice Board and various committees. Develops, implements, and evaluates a stewardship program to enhance relationships with donors. Provides public relations support to in regard to donors and volunteers. Writes proposals, newsletters, brochures, press releases, and other materials as necessary; plans and oversees annual and cumulative giving recognition programs. Responsible for managing and motivating all volunteers in regard to their roles on various boards and committees to accomplish agreed upon annual goals. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
