Medical Assistant - OB/GYN

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant in our Women's Health unit at Fort Belvoir's Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic in Dumfries, Virginia.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week - 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Taking a patient's history and personal information upon arrival of appointment
• Scheduling appointments and answering the phone
• Checking patient vitals and provide assistance to physician in office with OB procedures

Requirements:

• Required: Graduated from an Accredited Medical Assistant program
• Required: 2-years of experience as a medical assistant. At least 2 years experience working in a women's health center or Ob/Gyn clinical setting (resume must reflect solid, relevant experience)
• Active BLS certification
