Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialty Coordinator to join our healthcare team. This entry-level management position is responsible for coordinating patient care on designated shifts and providing leadership to unit staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the nursing process for patients of all ages, ensuring care meets the standards set by the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act.
• Promote positive patient outcomes and quality of care by actively engaging in unit initiatives and improvements.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and sound nursing judgment to enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive improvements in patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model for continuous professional development, actively participating in teaching and learning throughout the healthcare continuum.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
• CNOR Required within 2 years.
• Two years of relevant patient care experience required.
• BCLS required within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
