Your Oak Creek, WI Meijer is looking for creative Cake Decorators who are motivated and excited to serve our customers and the community. As a Cake Decorator, you will use freehand decorating skills, decoration kits and tools to prepare a variety of high-quality cakes for multiple occasions. You will be responsible for preparing and decorating cakes for multiple occasions; and fill and condition the cake case while providing an excellent customer experience FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FROM EARLY MORNING TO LATE AFTERFOON (4, 6 & 8 HOURS SHIFTS) MUST BE LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME; TRAINING PROVIDED CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A CAKE DECORATOR A PLUS; OR CULINARY STUDENTS A career at Meijer is more than a way to pay the bills. What You'll be Doing: Managing cake out-dates daily. Receiving and processing cake orders. Managing cake and icing inventory. Managing cake decorating station to include preparing icing's and following all sanitation procedures. Maintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with customers, team members and leadership. Stocking and maintenance of product and product displays according to quality and merchandising standards. Potential for working in our deli and bakery areas.
