Our Company The Opportunity The Adobe Digital Imaging Product Research, Innovation, and Market Exploration (DI PRIME) team is looking for a user research and innovation intern who is excited to help us craft the future of creativity! You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists and more to improve existing products that connect creative people worldwide to the magic of Photoshop and Lightroom. All 2025 Adobe Interns will be 'co-located hybrid', meaning that you will be assigned to an Adobe office location, but in-office schedules will be flexible (2-3 days per week). All interns must live in the same state, country, and within commuting distance of their assigned Adobe office, so they can be on-site as needed. Interns visiting Adobe sites must follow all applicable COVID-19 health and safety protocols. What You'll Do * Use an evidence-based research approach to evaluate product-market fit for products in development and to improve our existing digital creative apps. You'll iterate throughout the product development cycle supporting product managers, engineers, marketing partners, and designers who work together to build the world's best creative apps. * Identify and explore new opportunities before they make it onto the drawing board, uncover customer needs and aspirations, refine product / solution definition, and provide critical insights for business strategy. * Define and drive the most appropriate forms of research to understand our current and potential customers, including surveys, on-site and remote interviews, user-initiated feedback tools, A/B testing and experiments, and other methods. * Synthesize information from qualitative and quantitative sources, and integrate with in-product data analytics to deliver insights and recommendations. * Collaborate with web and customer analytics, third-party and syndicated research to provide a robust view of our customers. * Present and evangelize the insights to cultivate a highly informed, more effective, and more empathetic product organization. Strong visual and verbal communication skills are a must-have! What You Need to Succeed * Current enrollment in a college or university working towards an MA / MS or Ph.D. degree in Social Science, Cognitive/Behavioral Science, Human-Centered Design or related field (program must include research as a focus) * Proficiency or strong experience with qualitative methods (interviewing, usability studies, ethnographic observation) * Experience / core proficiency in quantitative methods, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts * Meticulous eye for detail, while leading multiple projects simultaneously * Curiosity and passion for enabling people from any background to express their creativity. * Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
