Career growth potential Job Description Greets patients and families to the practice, provides necessary registration form to the patient for completion and signature, reviews same for accuracy, updates patient information in Nextgen (E.H.R.), and notifies staff that patient is ready. * Efficiently and timely answers the phone and directs calls to the appropriate staff or records messages. * Retrieves voicemail messages, routes calls appropriately, offering voicemail, paging, or redirection of calls as needed. * Verifies correct insurance information via card, or phone call to the insurance company as appropriate. * Explain financial requirements to patients, collection of co-pay or payments for services at each visit and records payments * Prints and advises patients of any outstanding balance and collection of this payment. * Using practice management system appropriately to schedule, reschedule and cancel patient appointments. * Maintains various logs of daily activity. * Assists in chart preparation, clerical and administrative duties as assigned WEST: #prioritywest About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
