Description: Our client is partnering with TEKsystems to continue building out a Scrum Team that will include a Sr. Engineer to work on Enterprise Applications while support their modernization efforts. The application is used to track clinical trials around the globe representing billions in revenue for the client. Our team is focused on the client-facing aspect of the project, working with different business units and their requirements for feature enhancements to the application while laying the groundwork for and implementing migration to newer tools and platforms. This is a very fast-paced environment with a need to be able to hit the ground running, work independently, and interact well with the team and the Business. Be prepared to bring industry best practices to the table and share suggestions on process improvements to better streamline efforts to achieve greater productivity within the development team. The ability to quickly elicit actual requirements underlying business drivers through the haze of stated requirements is key to success. Skills: Java, Spring Top Skills Details: Java, Spring 10+ years of Java Development in an enterprise environment Not looking for a Full Stack Developer, preference is for someone who is Front End or Backend Focused Spring Core & Spring Boot Experience REST framework experience Hibernate or other ORM experience Additional Skills & Qualifications: Candidates need to be capable and willing to communicate across team members and internally to other teams as well as leadership with LabCorp. Candidate needs to be comfortable interfacing with direct managers while having confidence in committing to work inputs and deadlines.
