We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Desktop Support Technician to join our client's IT team in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop environments and related technology. This is fully onsite in Madison, WI with travel to other locations as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Provide Level 2 support for desktop hardware, software, and network issues. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 support. * Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, applications, and peripherals. * Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software. * Perform system upgrades and patches. * Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions. * Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless support and knowledge sharing. * Provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and technology usage. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. * Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. * Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
